Insight 06From the project

Rules withoutchecks decay

On 9 September 2026, every validator in our company OS was green. Even so, four checks found over a hundred one-way links. Since then, every rule has a check.

Station 01 / 05The finding

All green, still broken.

One-way links, orphaned tasks and a parser error that had silently disabled two safeguard checks.

  • One-way link
  • Orphaned task
  • Parser error

Station 02 / 05The maxim

A rule without a check is a request.

As soon as several agents write autonomously, every rule that nobody checks decays.

  • Rule without a check decays
  • Rule with a check holds

Station 03 / 05The checks

Seven checks on every push.

Index, backlinks, placeholders, dates, upkeep, record of processing activities, appointments. Locally and once more on the server.

Station 04 / 05The incidents

A safeguard that crashes blocks.

Three incidents in nine days proved it. Anything that only reminds gets ignored.

  • Check crashed passage closed

Station 05 / 05The balance

False alarms are a risk too.

A curtain that nobody can open gets bypassed instead of used. So we adjust thresholds rather than switch checks off.

  • Permanent block gets bypassed
  • Adjusted threshold gets used
